Bryce is an island man through and through. Living and growing up on St. Croix since he was three years old, Bryce has had the opportunity to build a life around his passion for the ocean and surfing. If you want to learn how to surf, Bryce has the skill and knowledge to teach you. If you want coconut water, Bryce will climb a tree and cut the coconut with his machete. If you are looking for adventure, Bryce knows all the places to hike, bike, and snorkel. St. Croix is his home and he is the only person who can give you an authentic St. Croix experience.

At just six years old, Bryce started learning to surf at Hay Penny Beach. He can remember his parents pushing him into waves on a bodyboard. From that moment forward, he was hooked by the ocean and riding waves. Bryce has surfed waves in the U.S. and British Virgin Islands, Costa Rica, Hawaii, the Northeast, and even Indonesia. Bryce has spent his whole life searching St. Croix for the best waves. Throughout this time, Bryce has learned how each waves breaks on St. Croix. He knows the best conditions for different surf spots, and understands how the currents work. When friends want to know where to surf Bryce is the first person they call.

Bryce attended and graduated from Country Day School on St. Croix. After graduating, Bryce moved to Hawaii to pursue a college degree and of course, waves! While on Hawaii, Bryce was able to surf and bodyboard some amazing waves. But after almost four years on Hawaii, Bryce felt the pull to return to St. Croix.

Back on St. Croix, Bryce spent a few years building boats at Gold Coast Yachts. However, his passion for the ocean and St. Croix drove him to go into business with his father. He saw an opportunity to show locals and visitors alike the beauty of the bioluminescent bay in Salt River. Bryce opened Sea Thru Kayaks with his father and brought the first entirely clear kayaks to St. Croix. With Bryce's local knowledge and unique flair, Sea Thru Kayaks became a must-do attraction on St. Croix.

After an injury left Bryce in a foreign land, Connecticut, he didn't know if he would ever surf again. After dating for a few months, Amanda took Bryce to Rhode Island for a birthday vacation. Back by the ocean, Bryce knew he had to get back on a surfboard. He jumped into the world of surfing in the Northeast USA. At times, this required full wetsuits, gloves, and booties, which was new to Bryce. The freezing temperatures in the winter were a shock to his system, but his passion for surfing couldn't be stopped. Bryce is a surfer and surfing is his life. No matter where he is in life, he always finds a way to surf.

Four years later, Bryce was over cold water surfing and asked Amanda if she would move home to St. Croix. Ever since moving back, Bryce hasn't missed a beat. He settled back into the Surf Community on St. Croix and surfs every chance he gets. He continues to love and explore his island home with Amanda and in 2020 Bryce proposed to Amanda underwater while they were snorkeling at Cane Bay. A year later and they tied the knot barefoot on a beach in St. Croix. This is home and there is nowhere they would rather be.

Now that Bryce has settled into his life on St. Croix again, he is ready to share his love and passion for surfing with locals and tourists. With over 30 years of surf experience on St. Croix, Bryce has the knowledge and skills to teach others about the sport. He can't wait to take you out for a lesson and have you standing up on waves!
